I have not seen the movie, nor do I plan to. I only see one or two movies a year, and I want to escape from reality, not think about current events. And nothing ticks me off more than propaganda. Facts, fine, but I don't need to be brainwashed with someone else's opinions and biases.
However, I did this very interesting review on feministe.

I am sorry you feel that way. I think you would feel differently about Michael Moore and this film if you saw it. But that's the conundrum...
Sure, the movie is propaganda. But isn't most television and news, according to definition, propaganda? Wouldn't you want to see as many different sides and opinions to a story as possible in order to gain the best possible analysis? If you don't want to see propaganda, don't watch the news and don't read the paper, or any blog for that matter. Its all propaganda. Unfortunately, Michael Moore's movie is coming under attack by the media and our government because he helps to expose the bias and the propaganda that Americans are force fed every day. You don't have to agree with anything in the movie, just know that everything that is stated is proven fact, and all the footage is authentic. Its hard to argue with actual footage, even if it is propaganda.
I don't watch the news. The only sections of the paper that I read are the business, lifestyles, and comics. I only read Michael's blog because he makes me :)
Movies to me are for entertainment purposes, to escape reality. That's not what I would be doing in a movie like that.
Moore took stuff out of context, rearranged it to suit the point he was trying to make. American soldiers aren't laughing as they kill Iraqi children, Bush isn't financially involved with the bin Laden family, yet Moore presents his twists to make them appear that they are.
Most television and news isn't supposed to be propoganda; the liberal media is often surprised when studies show that they are liberal. Michael Moore calls himself a documentary which is supposed to attempt some objectivity, but there's nothing objective about it.
