Trusting your gut

When I decided it was time to move on from my employer, the only employer I had known my professional career of 10+ years, I told myself I would just have to make the decision based on gut instinct. As you can tell from my past posts, it has been well, trying at my new place of employment. I am starting to doubt my 'gut instinct'.

You are welcome here. We have more work than we can handle at the moment.

I think there are growing pains whenever you change jobs. I can't tell you the number of times I've thought to myself, "Oh, what did I do?!"

But then I remember what I would have had to continue putting up with and I figure out that I'm much, much happier now than I was before.

Change is always hard. I hate it. But just because it's hard doesn't mean it isn't good. Keeping my fingers crossed that things will settle down for you soon.
